This information is for parents of students below the age of 18. Active learning and Active Teaching are concepts employed in this course to help maximize your student's experience with immersive language learning techniques.

FREE one-on-one time with the instructor is available to students for up to one hour every week. Students below
the age of 18 will not be allowed to book chargeable time, beyond the initial free time, without prior parental permission. Please see

CONTRACT & PROCEDURES
Scheduling at least one of two FREE weekly half-hour assessment interviews with the instructor is required in this course. All one-on-one time will be conducted by phone and supplemented by the online resources of the course. Conversations will be audio-recorded for instructive purposes only and will not be used in any other way without your prior written consent. Instructor approved messaging services may also be likewise used for conversational assessment. The student, can schedule free, one-on-one assessment and conversation time for a total of up to 60 minutes a week. Every additional hour or fraction of an hour will be charged at the rate of $25 per hour or 45 cents per minute; messaging will he charged at half-rate levels. Students will always be asked in advance whether they want to continue with chargeable time.  PLEASE NOTE: Students below the age of 18 must provide evidence of parental permission in order to participate in this course, schedule chargeable time, or engage in the use of related online resources. Also in cases where it is logistically expedient, Skype accounts may be used at the discretion of either the student or the instructor.
FOR ASSESSMENT PURPOSES your student must select a business topic from those provided on the resources page and be prepared to discuss the related objectives and goals that have been initially preset by the instructor but may be subject to adjustments that are mutually agreed on between the instructor and student. All assessments will be conducted in a conversational tone.
 
AFTER THE FIRST HALF-HOUR OF ASSESSMENT the conversation will continue either as around student questions related to the business topic selected by the student, desired mentoring advice, or any of the course assignments or activities.
