Using immersive language learning techniques, I will help you improve your Conversational English by listening to whatever you have to say about something you have learned. You can use the lessons linked to the Master Graphic above, or you may have a skill or a hobby I know nothing about, but I would love to learn about it by listening to whatever you want to teach me.

Unless you are in a school sponsored program, specialized tutoring in the first three categories, as well as conversational practice will be charged at the specified rates. For a description of each category, click on the relevant read more link. You may click on the sign-up buttons if you desire to schedule time with a tutor. Also note that the instructor's time is extremely limited and office hours for such time will be held specifically between 10 A.M. and 4 P.M. US, Pacific Standard Time, Monday-Saturday. Available time will be allocated on a first come - first served basis. For more information, see the Contract and Procedures box at the bottom of this page.
One-On-One Assessment Interviews: A Private Conversation With Your Instructor
CONTRACT AND PROCEDURES
Scheduling at least one of six FREE weekly ten-minute assessment interviews with your instructor is required if you are a student in this course. All one-on-one time is audio-recorded for instructive purposes only and will not be used in any other way without your prior written consent. Registered students, can schedule free, one-on-one assessment and conversation time for a total of up to 60 minutes a week or 10 minutes per day (no time is scheduled on Sunday-US Pacific Standard Time). Every additional hour will be charged at the rate of $25 per hour which is 45 cents per minute.
All time, including registered student time beyond the first 10 minutes, must be paid in advance. In cases where video conferencing is desired by the student, Skype, Zoom, or similar accounts must be set up independently by the student, and an invite to join that such a meeting must be sent to the instructor 3 days in advance. Students will be charged an additional $6 per hour for such meetings. PLEASE NOTE: In order to participate in this course, schedule chargeable time, or engage in the use of related online resources, students below the age of 18 must provide evidence of parental permission which is verifiable through a school instructor who is willing to sign a form to that affect).
FOR ASSESSMENT PURPOSES you must select a business topic from those provided on the resources page and be prepared to show progress toward related objectives and goals that have been initially preset by you and your instructor. All assessments will be conducted in a conversational tone. AFTER THE FIRST HALF-HOUR OF ASSESSMENT, additional conversation will continue around student questions related to a business topic selected in advance by the student, desired mentoring advice, or any of the course assignments or activities.
