CONCEPT SEVEN

Mission Processes

Analogy 4: "Skin In the Game"

"Skin in the game" refers to the idea that individuals or stakeholders have a personal investment risk in a venture or decision, typically involving financial or reputational stakes. This concept implies that those making decisions are more likely to act responsibly and consider the potential consequences, as they stand to gain or lose personally. In various contexts, it fosters accountability and aligns incentives, encouraging better decision and commitment to outcomes.
